Make Your Own Dog Food

When Minnie appeared in our yard alone and in need of a home, we took it upon ourselves to give this little dog a safe and happy life.

It took time for her to trust us. But once Minnie accepted us as her adoptive parents, there was no looking back—she was part of the family. ❤️

As we cared for Minnie, we became increasingly interested in what went into her bowl. That led us to prepare Chicken Chow at home using familiar ingredients we selected ourselves.

Minnie’s journey and the Chicken Chow recipe inspired Make Your Own Dog Food. The book explains the ingredients, vitamin and mineral additions, preparation method, and foods that should never be fed to dogs.
